About Thrivom

The email that lands the week you were about to run out.

When retention is done well, it doesn’t feel like marketing at all — it feels like a brand that pays attention. That quiet, well-timed relevance is the whole craft, and it’s what we built Thrivom around. We’re not here to help you shout louder — we’re here to make sure the customers you’ve already won have a reason to come back.

Sukanya Mohapatra

Founder, Thrivom

An engineer who fell for marketing and never looked back. She’s spent nearly a decade on one question — why do customers come back? — and chased the answer through the categories where it matters most: gaming (Games24x7), travel (redBus) and rewards (CashKaro). She reads behaviour before she writes a brief, and built Thrivom so growing brands could borrow that instinct.

Where we came from

Then
Our founder, Sukanya, spent years leading retention for unicorn-scale brands — the kind with millions of customers and the data teams to match.
The gap
Up close, the pattern was hard to miss: the sharpest retention thinking was locked inside a handful of very large companies, while brilliant D2C brands — better products, more loyal fans, far more to gain — were left blasting their entire list and hoping something stuck. The brands that needed retention most had the least access to people who actually knew how to do it.
Now
So we built the team we wished those brands could hire: senior, data-first, and obsessed with the unglamorous mechanics of getting a customer to come back. Thrivom exists to bring big-brand retention rigour to the brands that deserve it and can’t yet build it in-house.
What we believe

The backbone of Thrivom

01

Retention is a data problem before it's a creative one.

The best designed email in the world sent to the wrong person is just clutter. Get the segmentation right and the creative almost writes itself.
02

The second purchase is where a brand is actually born.

The first sale is a stranger taking a chance. The second is the start of a relationship — and it rarely happens by accident.
03

Discounts are the easy answer, not the right one.

Leaning on codes trains customers to wait for the next sale. We’d rather give them a genuine reason to buy now.
04

Seniority isn't a luxury; it's the product.

The person who understands your data should be the person doing the work. No handoffs, no “let me check with the team.”
Thrivom · the team

Small enough that every discipline still touches your account.

Strategy, segmentation, copy, design and automation all for one goal: more revenue per customer.
